People of all ages and cultural backgrounds. All you need is a genuine liking for people, empathy, patience, a warm personality and a few hours a week to spare.
How can you help as a volunteer?
Driving clients to and from the Centre. Assisting with the day to day running of Homelink. Utilising your personal skills and expertise for the benefit of clients at Homelink. Providing entertainment or social activities.
What are the benefits of volunteering?
Meeting people and making new friends. Learning new skills. Being able to give something back to the local community. A new direction in career or retirement.
What can Homelink offer you as a Volunteer?
Attendance at regular training sessions in accordance with the Homelink annual training plan. Support and advice. Appreciation and personal satisfaction. Opportunities to build new friendships and to attend Homelink social functions and fundraising events.
